This campaign proved to cut through the slew of saccharine Christmas advertising with a more accurate depiction of festive family cabin fever. The three TVCs strove to associate these ‘Unchristmasable’ moments with the Jacobs range of Christmas biscuits.
The copywriter was Des Kavanagh and they were directed by Stevie Russell for Tidal Films.
There is a tight colloquial theme going on…these are unmistakably based on the Irish family Christmas; and proved hugely successful both in research and with the bloggers.
